1752: Barbastro, Spain. Fr John Justafé and Rafael Pi, envoys of Superior General, Fr Louis de Bras, are given the notary documents from bishop handing over possesion of Nostra Signora della Bella seminary by Congregation of the Mission.

1945: Dalat, Vietnam. Fr Adolf Buck dies. Born on November 19, 1866 at rue Mouffetard in Paris. After siege of Paris he left the city. Studies completed in Berceau de Saint Vincent, where he was a professor of Science for sixteen years after ordination. He entered Congregation in Dax on September 26, 1883. In 1906 he departed for China, where he stayed as a treasurer in Ningpo. He was excellent in this post being able to arrange goods hardly obtainable there, e.g. planting grapes and raisins to prepare missal wine. When the communism expanded in China he moved all his activities to mission in Dalat.
