1768. In Warsaw, Poland, dies Fr. Gabriel Baudouin (entered Congregation on April 10, 1710). Like over a century earlier, Fr Baudouin looked for abandoned and poor children on the street of Warsaw. He organized a shelter and orphanage for these children he found. He also constructed the well know Hospital of Infant Jesus (Szpital Dzieci?tka Jezus), staffed by Daughters of Charity since the construction. Thanks to kings support the hospital provided care for beggars and crippled people.
1860. Daughters of Charity Province of Naples was erected.
1926. Pirst Daughters of Charity arrive to Coquilhatville, in Congo. They start mission in the hospital for African and European people. Province of Congo was erected in 1967 and the Seminary was opened in 1972.
1932. In Paris. La librairie Desclée announces publishing of Fr. Coste's work: "Le grand Saint du Grand Siècle, Monsieur Vincent".
1938. In Rome. Pope Pio XI signs nomination for Rev. Jean Odeandahl CM titular bishop of Latopolis and Apostolic Vicar of Limon, in the vice-province of Costarica.
1960. St. Louise de Marillac proclaimed a patroness of Christian Social Work by Pope John XXIII.
