Video:Holy Mass at the Holy Sepulcre

This short video was recorded during the Holy Mass celebrated by Fr Gregory Gay, Superior General, assisted by other confreres and some Daughters of Charity in Tomb of Jesus at the Basilica of Holy Sepulcre in Jerusalem ending his visit to Holy Land and Middle East in December 13-23, 2007.

It is an honor and privilege to celebrate or attend Eucharist in this special place. The Tomb of Jesus is a small temple-like, two chamber structure inside the Basilica. It is the heart of the temple. Usually visitors are not allowed for longer stay inside the Tomb.

The bunch of olive tree rosaries seen during the film are laid on the place recognized as the Tomb of Jesus. Laying objects on the stone shelf is a common way in Holy Land to have them benedictioned.
