Loughlin Sofield
Loughlin Sofield, S.T., is a Missionary Servant of the Most Holy Trinity.
He served as Director of the Missionary Servant Center for Collaborative Ministry, Director of the Washington Archdiocesan Consultation and Counseling Center and Assistant Director of the Center for Religious and Psychiatry, Washington D.C. Bro. Loughlan is Senior Editor of Human Development magazine. He writes numerous articles on ministry and is the co- author of many books. His most recent works include: Uniting Our Gifts in Ministry, 2001 Winner of the Catholic Press Associa- tion, Building Community: Christian, Caring, Vital, 1999 Winner of Catholic Press Association, and Design for Wholeness, Ave Maria Press.
Bro. Loughlan was a member of the Advisory Board of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Laity, Family, Women and Youth. He also served on the faculty or lectured at the Washington Theological Union, Georgetown University, University of San Francisco, The Catholic University of Louvain and Notre Dame University.
