Gwen Tamlyn

Sister Gwen Tamlyn, DC is a member of the Daughters of Charity, the Order founded in 1633 by St Vincent de Paul and St Louise de Marillac. Trained as a welfare worker, Sister Gwen has worked with young people with special needs, with single mothers as well as with the inmates of the Villawood detention centre. After working in Ireland studying religious foundation for a year, Sister Gwen was asked to be Spiritual Advisor to the NSW/ACT State Council, a position she has held for the last six years.
