1770 Fr. P. Collet dies in Paris. He was the author of a life of Saint Vincent which has gone through many editions, translations and summaries. His work served as a reference point for all other biographers of Vincent. His work was published anonymously, without any literary publicity, but because of the canonization process for Vincent, Collet had available to him resources that were unknown to Abelly.

1873 Fr. Vicart, the Director General of the Daughters of Charity dies. He helped Fr. Etienne the leadership of the Congregation.

1939 Fr. Paul Michalski, C.M., together with professors from the University of Cracow, is arrested and sent to the concentration camp of Sachsenhausen.
