1624:St. Vincent takes posessions of Collège des Bons-Enfants in Paris (after mediation of Fr Antoine Portail). This 1.600 square meters (17.222 square feet) building is not existing nowadays. It could locate at the end of present rue Saint-Victor , close to the church Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet. St.Vincent and Fr Portail did not moved in until Madame de Gondi died.

1654: 2nd part of St. Vincent's conference about silence (resumed from February 24)

1747: Saint-Lazare-lez-Paris. 11th General Assembly closes. 36 attendants in 28 sessions discussed various problems.Fr Louis de Bras was elected 8th Superior General of the Congregation. An act of submission was proclaimed according to Clement XI Bulla 'Unigenitus' of 1713 written against Jansenism. Delegates precized the doctrine of the vow of poverty. The assembly considered another 51 questions in various matters, too.

1747: Francis Regis Clet enters the internal seminary at «Maison des Lazaristes» in Lyon at the age of 21.

1842: Jean-Marie Odin, CM consecrated bishop in New Orleans

1899: Fr Callixte Irlandès dies in Oran, Algieria. He opened the seminary for new erected diocese of Oran in 1869. From 1872 he was superior of community house in Oran.

1926: Fr Georges Devisse dies in Amiens, France.
