1655: Vincent write to Monsieur Ozenne in which he expresses his hope that the first Polish Daughter of Charity will persevere.


1660: In a conference with the Daughters of Charity, Vincent names Sister Chetif the Superior General of the Daughters and the first successor of Louise de Marillac. Three councilors are also elected: Sister Loret, sister Cristina and Sister Bailly.


1703: Death of Fr. Pierron, the 4th Superior General of the Congregation. During his term of office he requested Fr. Henin, the Director of the Daughters of Charity, to write the first catechism on the vows.
