1654 In 1654, St. Louise writes to St. Vincent that Sister Marie Jolly, the first Daughter of Charity, who was in Sedán, left with all her things after eating without saying good-by to anyone. Actually, it was not true because she returned that night.


1793 In 1793, the missioner Paul P. Bailly died in Amiens. He was imprisioned for not signing the Constitution of the French Clergy which would create a French Church independent of the Holy See.
