Michael O'Farrell

Michael O'Farrell CM was the first Vincentian Bishop in Australia. Born in Ireland on April 7 1865, he was ordained in 1887 and joined the Congregation of the Mission. He arrived in Australia in 1913, and was Bishop of Bathurst, a rural diocese in New South Wales, from 1920 - 1928. He died on April 4, 1928.
