The current WikiSysop is Beth Nicol. That's me!
When this site began, my day job was as an Information Technology Master Specialist at the Auburn University Libraries, in Auburn AL (USA). In that capacity I worked primarily with "digital projects." These include collections of postcards, photographs from the early 20th century related to the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service (things like a 60 lb watermelon, cotton crops, poultry farmers, etc), the first 35 years of the Auburn Yearbook, Glomerata, and other interesting collections.
I was also a co-PI for one of the projects funded by NDIIPP (National Digital Information and Infrastructure Preservation Project) by the Library of Congress. All this precious and not so precious information stored in bits in computers can be lost in the blink of an eye, especially with natural disasters in recent years: Katrina, Rita, tsunamis, tornadoes in Alabama and Kansas. We worked on one method of preserving digital files for future generations.
This dovetails nicely with my work for the Vincentian Fathers as a "technical" webmaster/programmer/webdesigner and the WikiSysop for this site.
And now, my day job is working with the various FAMVIN and related sites.
