Overview

Vincent was keenly aware that education was a critical piece in knowing, loving and serving Jesus Christ. From his early years as a student at the University of Toulouse to his teaching at the famed Sorbonne in Paris, France - Vincent valued education.
He began opportunities of retreat and learning for the local clergy, he founded and taught at seminaries in Paris, he educated the common person with whom he lived and served about the mission of Jesus Christ.
Education continues to be an important choice in the life and work of Vincentian priests and brothers.
