1658: Conference of Vincent de Paul in Saint Lazare about good example, its reasons, faults against it and ways to avoid the faults.

1878: In Paris, at half past ten p.m., suddenly dies Fr Eugene Boré, fifteenth Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission in the age of 69. In 1866 he was appointed Secretary General and after death of Fr Etienne he was elected Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission on September 11, 1874.

1879: In Angers died Fr Jean Louis Mellier, who held position of Vicar General of the Congregation from death of Fr Etienne to the election of Fr Boré.

1881: Death of Fr. Bourdarie who had succeeded Fr. Mellier in his office as Director of Daughters of Charity in 1875. The Superior General at that time was Fr. Fiat and the Superioress General, Our Mother Juhel.

1886: Sr. Sion comes to Jerusalem with three other Daughters of Charity. This is the beginning of the works in the Holy Land: Bethlehem, in 1887; Nazareth, in 1898; Bethany in 1930.
