'1813: Frédéric Ozanam (founder of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul) was born in Milan, Italy. He was the fifth child of fourteen born to Jean-Antoine- Francoise and Marie Nantas Ozanam, ardent French Catholics of middle-class circumstances.

1826: Joan Antida Thouret died in Naples. Born on November 27, 1765 in Sancey-Le-Long in the department of Doubs in France. In 1777 she enetered Daughters of Charity. When in 1793 all religious orders were suppressed she returned to her hometown. In 1799 she founded her own congregation in Besancon. She was canonized in 1934 by pope Pio XI.

1833: Frédéric Ozanam, Emmanuel Bailly and five other students, supported by sister Rosalie Rendu, establish Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Nowadays, active in 107 countries, almost half of a million members gathered in 32 thousands conferences with budget over $20 million the Society is growing. Over 2 and a half million families are regularly visited.

1913: Cardinal Vincent Vannutelli, archpriest of basilica Santa Maria Maggiore, appointed by pope Pio X to preside ceremonies of 100th anniversary of Frederick Ozanam's birthday in Paris is received at Maison-Mère, where he had stayed all his visit in the capital.

1949: Fr Hubert Meuffels, Visitor of Province of Holland from 1932 to 1945, died in Maison-Mère in Paris. He was born on March 20, 1871 in Limbourg in Holland. He wrote books about Dutch saints, biography of St. Vincent de Paul and Fr Antoine Fiat and also "Life of Jesus, the Son of Man".

1954: Fr Tichit, Visitor of province of China North is expelled from China after many months spent in prison. There were wounds on his wrists evidently a sign of chains he had to bear inprisoned and other signs of maltreatment.
