1718: There is a special meeting taken in the motherhouse to sign first document of "Statutes" of the Congregation. The primary document was not of the style the present Statutes are. However it was very important internal administrative instructions for all community of the Congregation allowing it to develop its goals in the Church.
1736: Fr Jean Conty, new elected Superior General announces special Circular letter about his elevation to the post. There are also new Assistant elected: Fr Richon, Fr Noirot, Fr Gros, Fr Martinengo.
1934: On the 4th Sunday of Lent, «Laetare» -- pope Pio XI canonizes Louise de Marillac in St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican. Officials of 40 nations among with over 100 Vincentians and 100 Daughters of Charity and over 250 Ladies of Charity attend the ceremony. Superior General, Fr. Charles Souvay, Fr Cazot - Director of Daughters of Charity and Fr Scognamillo -- the Postulator of the canonization process assist as well. French Church is represented by Msgr Liénart - the Dean of bishops and the Paris Church represent Msgr Courbe - Secretary General of Catholic Action and pastors of parishes attached to St. Louise and St. Vincent -- St. Nicholas de Chardonnet and St.Lawrence. Canonization was a three day ceremony. Services of last two days were taken in the Church of Saint Andrew Behind the Walls were presided by Cardinal Angello Pacelli, future pope Pio XII.
