1793 In 1793, a law of Parlement in Paris imposing on all members of religious congregations, including CMs and DCs, a civil oath. Many CMs and DCs were martyred for not making this oath.
1935 In 1935, Fr. Pierre Coste dies. He authored the three volume work “The Great Saint of the Great Century”, the most complete biography of St. Vincent.
