1817 In 1817, in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, Bishop Duborg, bishop of New Orleáns, gives permission for the Vincentians to open the first Internal Seminary of the CM in the USA with Fr. Feliz de Andreis as first Director

In 1828, King Charles X of France signs the order that autorices the people of Pouy, where St. Vincent was born, to change its name to San Vincent de Paul.
