Leo Raymond De Neckère, C.M., born 6 June 1800 in Wevelghem, Belgium and died 5 September 1833 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
Vowed in 1830; ordained a priest of the Congregation of the Mission on 13 October 1822; appointed third bishop of New Orleans on 4 August 1829. Consecrated by Joseph Rosati, C.M., bishop of Saint Louis, on 24 June 1830.
Bishop de Neckère died in the 1833 yellow fever epidemic in New Orleans.
